TidyPDF ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at tidypdf.io. We provide free online PDF tools including merging, compressing, splitting, converting and unlocking PDF files.

This is the most important section. Every tool on TidyPDF — Merge PDF, Compress PDF, Split PDF, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, and Unlock PDF — runs entirely within your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries. Your files are loaded into your device's memory, processed locally, and downloaded back to your device. At no point are your files transmitted over the internet to any server.
For the Unlock PDF tool, your password is also never transmitted — the decryption happens entirely in your browser. We have no access to your passwords or the content of your protected documents.
